Chipton-Ross is seeking an Accounting Assistant 4 for a contract/hybrid opportunity in Irving, TX.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• High school diploma and 6 years of experience.
• Accounts payable customer service experience is a must.
• Intermediate skills in Excel and thorough knowledge of other Microsoft applications including Word and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and accounting orientation, and the ability to multi-task and manage time.
• When not in person, ability to be on camera.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Seeking an Accounting Assistant 4. The selected individual will report to the manager of Accounts Payable Customer Support and will utilize SAP/S4 and Open Text, Oasis, ServiceNow and AP Inquire to support Accounts Payable functions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, company policies and procedures, disclosure statements, and government regulations, as they relate to our accounts payable tasks. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Utilize SAP/S4 and OpenText to perform Accounts Payable research.
• Perform accounting activities within the context of GAAP, FAR, CAS, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills to help resolve vendor and internal personnel inquiries.
• Operating independently to provide exceptional customer service.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• Clearly and professionally communicating related accounting policies and procedures.
• Developing solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

o Multitasking and working independently to meet service delivery agreements.

• Developing and run metrics utilizing Alteryx and Tableau.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• SAP experience.
• Oasis and ServiceNow experience.
• Experience in a financial services environment.
• Government contracting experience.
• Understanding of FAR, GAAP, and SOX requirements.
• Experience with Tableau and Alteryx.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:

5/40 workweek. This position will be located in Irving, TX (with a hybrid remote schedule). Teleworking arrangements are subject to change based on the needs of the business. HYB
