**Hiring Now: A&P Mechanics** and **Technician Helpers** to support **C-Check** **inspections** on DC-9 aircraft at **Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti, MI** . This is a **4-5-month contract** with a **quick start date** **Details:** + **Shift:** 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Monday-Friday) + **Fleet:** DC-9 + **Environment:** On-site hangar, heavy maintenance + **Pay:** + **A&P Mechanics (2 openings):** $40/hr + **Helpers (2 openings):** $28/hr **Requirements:** + 2 Mechanic Helpers - $28.00/hour - Entry level A&P or Military or Non-Licensed aircraft mechanics + 2 A&P Mechanic with 5+ years commercial aircraft exp - $40.00/hour Must have own tools **Responsibilities** + Perform C-Check inspections on two DC-9 aircraft. + Utilize personal tools for repair tasks. + Conduct sheet metal repairs and aircraft modifications. + Carry out riveting, composite, and structural sheet metal fabrication. + Engage in heavy maintenance and aircraft assembly. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Boeing, Airbus, MD, and other commercial airframes. + Technician Helpers should have 2+ years of civilian or commercial experience. **Work Environment** The job is based on-site at Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti, MI, within a hangar/heavy maintenance environment alongside approximately 15 technicians. The role follows a first-shift schedule from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Belleville, MI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
