Description Michelle Espejo with Robert Half Financial Services is recruiting a CFO for a fast-growing venture capital firm. This full-time, permanent role is based in San Francisco with a hybrid schedule. The firm is transforming how traditional industries adopt modern software and technology and has a strong track record with top-tier institutional partnerships. The Head of Finance and Operations will play a key role in scaling the firm and driving finance and operational processes. Responsibilities + Lead financial operations across funds, GP entities, and the management company, including audits, reporting, and fund administrator relationships. + Partner on fund structures, co-investment programs, LP due diligence, and investment closings. + Build operational policies, compliance frameworks, and valuation standards. + Collaborate with engineering to optimize systems and data processes. + Mentor a team and improve workflows across the platform. *Contact Michelle Espejo via LinkedIn or email for additional info and immediate consideration. Requirements + 10+ years in venture capital, private equity, fund administration, or senior finance and operations roles. + Currently at another VC fund + Strong knowledge of fund mechanics, legal structures, reporting, and compliance. + Experience leading finance and operations functions with accountability. + Ability to work with IR teams on fund structures and investor engagement. + Financial acumen paired with operational skills and a focus on building scalable systems.
