Job Description

Location : Chicago Metro

Salary: 180,000-$250,000 annually , plus performance bonuses and benefits

Overview :A Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role in the construction industry offers an exciting opportunity to steer financial strategy in a high-growth, essential sector. This position demands a results-oriented leader who can drive profitability , optimize operations , and lead the financial vision for sustained success.

Key Responsibilities :

* Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability and cost control.
* Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other stakeholders.
* Lead risk management initiatives and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
* Collaborate with the executive team to drive strategic decisions , including fleet expansion and operational improvements.
* Optimize the use of capital for acquisitions, equipment investments, and infrastructure development.

Qualifications :

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field ( MBA or CPA preferred ).
* 10-15+ years of experience in financial leadership, preferably in the transportation or trucking sector.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills .
* Proven track record of financial turnaround strategies and operational efficiency improvements.
* Expertise in leveraging technology for financial reporting and data analytics.

Salary and Benefits :

* Competitive base salary of $180,000-$250,000 annually , depending on experience.
* Performance bonuses tied to key metrics such as EBITDA growth and operational efficiency.
