Clinical Director (BCBA)

Durham, NC | Leadership Role in Clinic-Based ABA Services

Lead with Purpose. Change Lives. Grow a Team.

About AutismCOE

At the Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE), we’re redefining what ABA therapy should be—for clinicians, for families, and most importantly, for children. With multiple clinics across North Carolina, we deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in environments built for collaboration, excellence, and real progress. Our Durham clinic is thriving—and we’re ready for a strong leader to help it flourish.

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Clinical Director (BCBA) to lead our Durham team. This is a key leadership position that combines clinical oversight with team development and strategic vision. You’ll guide and support a talented group of BCBAs and RBTs, foster a culture of clinical integrity and collaboration, and ensure every child receives care that’s individualized, ethical, and effective.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee all clinical operations for the Durham clinic, ensuring quality care and efficient processes

  • Create, review, and refine individualized ABA treatment plans using best-practice approaches

  • Provide hands-on supervision, mentorship, and training to BCBAs and RBTs

  • Monitor treatment data to assess client progress and inform ongoing decision-making

  • Build strong relationships with families to align goals and support child success

  • Ensure compliance with BACB ethics, HIPAA, and AutismCOE protocols

  • Support clinic operations and contribute to company-wide initiatives and growth strategies

What You Bring

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing (required)

  • Active LBA license in North Carolina (or eligibility)

  • Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of ABA experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role

  • Proven ability to lead clinical teams with empathy, vision, and professionalism

  • Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to individualized, ethical care

  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

What We Offer

  • Competitive Salary with up to 30% annual performance-based bonus potential

  • Leadership Opportunity in a fast-growing clinic with a mission-driven team

  • Comprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance

  • Work-Life Balance with generous PTO and paid holidays

  • Professional Development with CEU reimbursement and tuition discounts

  • Future Financial Security through a 401(k) with employer match

  • Modern Tech including a company laptop and digital tools to streamline your work

Ready to Lead with Impact?

If you're a driven BCBA who’s ready to lead a high-performing team while delivering life-changing therapy to children and families, we’d love to connect with you. Apply today and help shape the future of ABA in Durham.

AutismCOE is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all team members.
