Contracts Administrative Assistant
No bachelor’s degree required (preferred) – HS Diploma/GED and appropriate work experience required (if they have a bachelor’s degree, great, but not a requirement. The only difference for a person with degree vs. not is that if a full-time “permanent” role were to open on the team, it would require a bachelor’s degree in business or related field so I would just want full transparency with this person they may or may not be education qualified to fill a Parker hired role on the team without that degree.
In office role – no remote/work from home supported

RESPONSIBILITES

• Order Entry
• Schedule changes
• Customer portal management
• Customer communications – must be comfortable picking up the phone and talking to customers, sometime delivering “bad news” while staying positive/supportive
• Must be computer savvy
• Excel fluent, comfortable using Microsoft Teams to support customer calls as needed
• Applies principles of cost accounting to collect and analyze variety of historical and estimated cost and pricing data.
• Prepares moderately complex bids and cost proposals that are economically feasible and competitive.
• Analyzes moderately complex production cost performance data.
• Represents the pricing team in cross-functional projects.
