Dental Receptionist - Endodontic Practice

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Dental Office Receptionist with a minimum of six months of prior experience working in a dental practice . The ideal candidate will be the welcoming face of our office—helping patients feel comfortable, ensuring efficient scheduling and billing, and supporting the clinical team in maintaining a smooth daily flow.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and assist patients warmly as they arrive and depart from the office.
• Manage a multi-line phone system—schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
• Verify dental insurance benefits, obtain pre-authorizations, and accurately input patient information into the practice management system.
• Collect and process payments, co-pays, and account balances.
• Communicate clearly with the dental team to ensure seamless coordination between the front and back office.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
• Monitor daily schedules to optimize chair time and provider productivity.
• Perform general administrative duties such as scanning, filing, and maintaining reception cleanliness.
• Ensure patient comfort — guiding them with reassurance, warmth, and empathy
• Assist with scheduling, patient calls, and cross-training as part of our collaborative team
• Contribute creativity to practice marketing and community outreach with patients and referring offices

What We’re Looking For :

• Minimum 6 months of dental office experience required. (Endodontic or specialty experience preferred.)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor with a calm and compassionate approach to patients who may be anxious.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to multitask in a structured environment.
• Commitment to maintaining our practice’s standard of excellence and patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Knowledge of TDO software is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
