You’ll advise clients on tax optimization strategies and help them make smart financial decisions to maximize their long-term savings. Responsibilities: • Examine every client’s financial records, such as their income statements and previous tax returns, to calculate their total amount of taxable income • Minimize the client’s tax liability by using each tax deduction and credit available to them • Arrange meetings to discuss tax services and give price estimates • Check each tax form for accuracy and tax compliance • Submit tax returns on behalf of the client and communicate with tax authorities • Manage QuickBooks Online & Desktop accounts for assigned clients • Perform full-charge bookkeeping : reconciliations, payroll processing, financial statement prep • Complete prior-year and delinquent tax return preparation projects • Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-Corps, and small businesses Qualifications: • 5+ years of work experience in tax consulting at an accounting firm or consulting firm • Advanced ability to comprehend federal and state tax laws and can easily navigate tax code documents for both basic and atypical returns • Obtained a current Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) from the IRS • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required • Enrolled Agent (EA) credential required • 3+ years experience in tax preparation (individual & business) • Knowledge of IRS representation and tax resolution procedures • Proficient in QuickBooks (Desktop & Online) and payroll processing • Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills • Excellent organizational and client communication skills About Company: F&F Accounting & Tax Solutions PLLC is a full-service payroll, bookkeeping, and tax firm that helps small business professionals turn their dreams into reality — building thriving businesses and legacies for themselves and their families.
