Job Description



The ideal candidate for this position should have;

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience
  • BSN preferred
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • COHN certification 
  • Demonstrated experience with occupational health protocols and procedures
  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and infection control practices
  • Experience in workers' compensation case management
  • Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis

We are seeking a Per Diem Employee Health Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Baltimore. In this role, you will provide occupational health services and promote wellness for our employees while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols.

  • Conduct pre-employment physical examinations and health screenings
  • Manage employee immunization programs and maintain accurate records
  • Provide first aid and emergency care for work-related injuries and illnesses
  • Coordinate workers' compensation cases and maintain required documentation
  • Implement infection prevention protocols and conduct exposure investigations
  • Perform fitness-for-duty evaluations and return-to-work assessments
  • Organize and conduct health education programs for employees
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and safety guidelines
  • Participate in employee wellness initiatives and health promotion activities
  • Maintain confidential employee health records in accordance with HIPAA

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience
  • BSN preferred
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • COHN certification preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with occupational health protocols and procedures
  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and infection control practices
  • Experience in workers' compensation case management
  • Excellent assessment and documentation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
  • Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis
