Family Office Accountant A privately held real estate investment and development firm is seeking a Family Office Accountant to support the Controller in managing accounting, financial reporting, and long-term tax and investment planning across a diverse portfolio of entities and assets. This is a high-impact role with direct exposure to ownership and external advisors. Key Responsibilities: + Maintain general ledger and financial reporting for residential, commercial, and partnership entities. + Manage bill payments, bank reconciliations, and capital calls. + Coordinate with external tax advisors and oversee offshore accounting teams. + Prepare tax documentation and support strategic planning (e.g., 1031 exchanges, opportunity zones). + Develop concise investment summaries and improve reporting processes. + Participate in special projects including renovation tracking and automation initiatives. Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + 3+ years of experience; Family Office, partnership, or HNW tax background preferred. + Proficiency in Yardi Voyager, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel. + Strong communication skills and ability to present financial data clearly. + Detail-oriented, discreet, and comfortable in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
