What You’ll Do:
As a Histotechnologist, you’ll be responsible for the preparation and processing of tissue specimens for microscopic evaluation. Your work will play a vital role in helping pathologists deliver accurate and timely diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all routine histology procedures including embedding, microtomy, and both manual and automated staining
Maintain high-quality slide preparation and ensure specimen integrity
Operate and troubleshoot histology lab equipment such as microtomes, tissue processors, and staining platforms
Follow all laboratory protocols and safety standards
Ensure regulatory compliance with CLIA, CAP, and internal quality standards
Maintain clear and accurate records for all processed specimens
Contribute to lab efficiency and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Who We’re Looking For:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Histotechnology or related science
HT or HTL (ASCP) certification preferred (or eligible)
1+ year of experience in a histology setting preferred
Strong technical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Positive attitude and reliability in a clinical lab environment

Competitive hourly rate: $25–$30/hour (depending on experience)
Flexible scheduling: Choose between Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, with the option to work five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts
