Hotel General Cleaner

Mt. Olympus in Wisconsin Dells is looking for Hotel General Cleaners! Join our team today - all ages 14 & up encouraged to apply. Full Time, Part Time & Seasonal Openings. Flexible Schedules! 
The Hotel General Cleaner is responsible for keeping all public areas in the Hotel clean. Some of these areas include the hotel lobby, main entrance (inside and outside), public bathrooms, front desk areas, management offices, elevators, vending machines, ice machines, stairs, and employee break rooms.

Must be 14 years or older to apply. 
Job Type: Full time, part-time
Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm* 
*Actual shifts may vary based on hotel occupancy. Weekends are required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Report to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Be sure that your closet is neat and clean at the end of each day.
• Must be able to communicate via radio (or learn to).
• Will be cross-trained and may occasionally have to help in other areas.
• Responsible for all items mentioned in the summary.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Hotel General Cleaner Requirements: 

• Must always wear a smile.
• Maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
• A professional attitude is required at all times.
• Greet all guests with a smile and a warm “hello” as you pass them in the hallways.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be able to follow instruction.
• Flexible schedule.
• Must be able to work all weekends and holidays.
• Must be on time for work.
• Must call in 2 hours before your shift if unable to work.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop and kneel.
• Must be able to push carts up and down the hallways.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
