Job Summary

To perform the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, including recruiting and interviewing staff, administering payroll, benefits, and leave, and ensuring compliance with company policies and practices. This is a part-time position, starting at 20 hours per week with great benefits!

Responsibilities / Duties

• Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
• Explore headhunter company with competitive rates for recruiting and connects with headhunter for key openings.
• Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating.
• Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Consult with lawyer and provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Maintain ADP payroll system regarding employee database regarding salary and pay.
• Process payroll for each pay period and generate payroll report.
• Communicating with Insurance and 401k vender regarding employees' benefits program.
• Coordinate and track employee performance evaluation process and communicate with different department head.
• Create different report for annual WC audit and 401k data collection.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Attributes

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
