Aquatech immediately needs a full-time Applications Engineer to work in our Hartland, WI, office. The hours of this position are Monday - Frida, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering degreeor related field equivalent.
: - Engage with clients to understand and define their key process performance needs.ds
- Develop creative process designs incorporating evaporation and crystallization technology.
- Author technical proposals that clearly communicate value propositions and accurately define process performance
- Prepare cost estimates for the proposed equipment scope
- Participate in client meetings with the sales team as a technical expert
- Create and deliver technical content to support business development initiatives
- Participate in pilot testing programs for process validation
- Complete engineering activities, including heat & material balances, process flow diagrams, piping & instrumentation diagrams, equipment sizing calculations, dimensional designs for pressure vessels and heat exchangers, and plant equipment layout
- Collaborate with engineering teams during project execution, procurement, and start-up
Skill Requirements: - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude
- Possess strong mechanical aptitude
