Striking Kitchen & Bath by Bell is hiring a Junior Interior Designer (Apprentice) to join our design showroom team in Centennial, CO! As part of a leading full-service interior design studio with roots in Denver since the 1950s, we’re looking for someone enthusiastic, organized, and eager to grow in the interior design industry. This role is ideal for someone early in their design career who’s passionate about kitchens, baths, and creative collaboration.

Salary: $55,000 – $70,000/year, based on experience

What You’ll Do

This hybrid front-desk and design-support role is perfect for a candidate entering the interior design field, offering hands-on exposure to professional processes and client interaction.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist clients in the showroom
• Schedule and coordinate client design appointments
• Support four senior designers (pull samples, order/research products, assist on site visits)
• Use 2020 Design software to input rough floorplans and measurements
• Maintain and organize design studio and sample room
• Schedule professional project photo shoots
• Communicate with vendors regarding samples, training, and pricing
• Update company social media platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook)

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed an Interior Design certification or degree program (preferred)
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, 2020, AutoCAD, SketchUp)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle check
• Customer service oriented with a professional demeanor

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
• Lift up to 30 lbs and kneel as needed
