Job Description

Salary: $90,000 - 120,000 per year Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Over 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry, ideally in the Chiller Technology sector.
• A solid comprehension of refrigeration systems and the associated equipment.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for factory visits, customer site visits, and training-related field visits.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily support to field sales teams on the application and installation of Chiller Solutions equipment in HVAC systems.
• Offer advice on system applications, develop creative solutions for specific customer needs, and leverage competitive insights to create advantages.
• Collaborate in the creation of tools and documentation to facilitate field sales and automate responses to common inquiries.
• Utilize in-house engineering systems and documentation proficiently to answer product-related questions.
• Assist and advise sales teams in overcoming equipment, job, or code challenges.
• Maintain effective communication and follow-up with sales personnel, design engineers, and product management teams to ensure clear understanding of customer requirements is established.
• Gather supplier quotes to convey costs and lead times for special product requests.
• Participate in product team meetings to strategize and execute business development initiatives.
• Design and deliver segments of sales training programs, including on-site sessions and visits to field offices to meet specific training needs.
• Mentor and support other Application Engineers, Product Marketing staff, Sales Engineers, and Sales Agents.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products (both JCI and competitors), market conditions, industry trends, technologies, and their impacts on the business.
