**Description** SAIC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern to support our Navy team in Poway, CA. Job Description: The intern will provide technical support, either within the company or in support of customer contracts, on assignments using established procedures. Candidates are primarily engaged in the technical or scientific disciplines through the course of college study. **Qualifications** **Required Education:** + High School and three (3) or more years of college coursework in a technical field. **Required Skills:** + Proficiency in SolidWorks. + Must possess good oral and written communications skills. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. + Must be motivated, adaptable, flexible. + Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail. + Ability to work in a team environment. + Ability to encourage, inspire and participate in teamwork. + US Citizenship. Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
