Job Description

What a day looks like

You arrive on site, walk the lift path, and run a thorough DOT/OSHA-compliant inspection. Blocks and mats are placed, outriggers are set, and the mobile rotating-cab crane is leveled. The rigging plan is reviewed; hand signals and radio checks are confirmed with the crew. With precision, you lift, move, and set loads exactly where the project team needs them—safely, efficiently, and without surprises. Between lifts, you document inspections, perform basic maintenance, and keep the crane and work area clean and orderly.

Compensation & logistics

  • Pay: $26.01 per hour
  • Relocation support: We have housing and transportation if you need to relocate. Relocation assistance available.
  • Stability: We provide a full-year contract.

What you’ll handle

  • Operate a mobile rotating-cab crane to lift, move, and position loads with accuracy and control.
  • Complete daily crane inspections and documentation in line with DOT and OSHA requirements.
  • Set up the crane on site, including blocks, mats, and outriggers to ensure stability.
  • Rig loads properly, verify connections, and execute lifts to safety standards.
  • Follow lift and rigging plans, respond to hand signals, and act on clear verbal instructions.
  • Track inspections and basic maintenance; keep detailed, accurate records.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the crane and surrounding work area.
  • Communicate clearly with the crew to coordinate safe, efficient operations.
  • Take on other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

What you bring

  • Experience: Previous crane operating experience is required.
  • Certification: Not required; a plus if you have it.
  • Licensing: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean motor vehicle record.
  • Education: High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s in a mechanical/electrical field preferred.
  • Skills: Strong safety awareness, attention to detail, clear communication, and solid record-keeping.

If you’re ready to run safe, precise lifts and be the operator crews rely on, we’d like to meet you.
