Job Title: Model Shop Front Door

Position Details:

• 100% onsite at 1400 Fountain Grove Parkway; Santa Rosa, CA 95403
• Hours/Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM.
• 24-months contract (Target start/end dates: 06/02/2025 - 06/01/2027).

Duties:

• Accept NPI & Model Shop jobs in online Manufacturing Execution System (MES), focusing primarily on Turning department jobs. Review with technical experts to determine job routing required to manufacture parts and/or assemblies per the request.
• Assign jobs to appropriate resources based on technical requirements, workload, scheduling and business priorities.
• Communicate with customers to clarify requests and negotiate delivery dates, if needed.
• Coordinate the purchase of lower level materials and tooling.
• Create Routings in custom ShopTrack NPI scheduling system.
• Manage jobs through all process steps, working with each department to meet the customer request.
  Manage outsourcing of work to external suppliers, including request for quotes (RFQs), managing purchase orders and ensuring delivery dates are met.
• Ensure data in Manufacturing Execution System is up to date and accurate.
• Collect data from MES, maintain and report Model Shop weekly metrics (MS Excel).
• To succeed in this role, you must be a strong communicator, exhibit technical leadership and be proactive.

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer & Microsoft Office skills.
• Operations and logistics knowledge.
• Manufacturing planning and scheduling.
• Supplier management.
• Basic machining/manufacturing knowledge, including understanding of drawings.
• 2D/3D CAD skills.
• A proactive and flexible team player.
• Demonstrated leadership and ownership, strong teamwork, interpersonal skills and follow-through.
• Familiarity with GD&T and CAD skills (Siemens NX CAD preferred) and basic understanding of Turning, WEDM, Sheet Metal, Additive Manufacturing, Milling.

Pay Transparency:

• This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $34.00/hour - $48.00/hour .
