Ventek Solutions in Tullahoma, TN is seeking a Mold Setter I

Job Overview:

• The mold setter will be changing and setting molds and making minor repairs
• This is a Monday - Friday job for 8 hours per day job and overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Changing and setting molds to a production schedule
• Make minor molding repairs and equipment adjustments
• Inspect and maintain the condition of the molds, tooling equipment, assembly or secondary equipment and fixtures before, during and after the run to ensure product meets quality operation of the overhead crane in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain housekeeping
• Maintain and wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required
• Identify and recommend any continuous improvements that could help achieve quick tool changes or improve other processes
• Perform all other duties as the company may require

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to read and minimal mathematics
• Minimum 1 year experience with injection molding
• Must have the basic tools required to perform the job
• Attendance must stay in good standing
• Must be able to work overtime as needed to meet internal and customer requirements
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
