About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate optometrist to help us provide excellent vision care services to our patients in long-term care facilities.

Some of the responsibilities include:

perform routine, comprehensive exams for glasses and contacts
perform dilated exams
provide diabetic evaluations
treatment of infection and injury
Repair and equip patients with eyeglasses
Proficient in diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease
Comfortable working with geriatric population

We have excellent opportunities for highly motivated & passionate optometrists who are looking to start a rewarding career. We provide routine eye exams to our largely geriatric patient population, as well as a broad range of treatments related to ocular diseases such as macular degeneration, inflammatory eye disease and dry eye syndrome.

We are seeking part time optometrists to help us provide excellent vision care services to our patients who are located in long term care facilities. This is a unique opportunity because we are mobile... You will be traveling to different nursing homes to provide eye care services to the residents. The right fit will have a car and will be OK to travel commutes when necessary. Furthermore, will adapt quickly to new environments.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate will:

Be available part-time or full time
Have valid OD/DO license in the state of OH
Be Board Certified
Have her/his own means of transportation
quickly acclimate to new environments
willing to travel at different facilities
