The work will be challenging, but always rewarding. **It's Work That Matters.** **Overview** **Schedule:** Day Shift **Purpose Statement/Position Summary:** The Stein Tikun Olam Early Connections Program in the Behavioral Health Institute at Children's Hospital Los Angeles provides comprehensive services related to the mental health needs of infants and young children (ages 0- 3) and their families. Services include universal screening and interventions for young children who receive specialty medical care at CHLA (in both inpatient and outpatient settings) and their families. The licensed therapist (psychiatric social worker, marriage and family therapist, or licensed professional clinical counselor) will provide mental health screening and brief intervention for children 0-3 and their families. This position includes the opportunity to work with multiple medical teams across CHLA, develop and implement models for clinical intervention, and deliver clinical services. **Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience** **:** 2+ year clinical experience with children ages 0-3, and their families/caregivers. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Preferred: Experience with young children with medical conditions and developmental delays; Experience working in fast-paced, interdisciplinary health care settings; Training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred. **Education/Licensure/Certification** **:** Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling with previous experience in a child, adolescent, or family mental health setting. Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. BLS certification from the American Heart Association required. **Pay Scale Information** $84,302.00-$144,518.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
