Job Title: Safety Carpenter / Handyman – Warner Construction (NB & Existing Buildings) Company: Warner Construction Location: Various Job Sites – Queens & Manhattan Pay: $18–$22/hour (depending on skills and experience) Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly Job Type: Temp-to-Perm, Full-Time About the Role: Warner Construction, the in-house general contractor for ZD Jasper, is seeking a skilled and reliable Safety Carpenter / Handyman to support both New Building (NB) and existing building projects. This is a temp-to-perm position with the opportunity to join our team long-term based on performance. Key Responsibilities: Install and maintain safety railings, protection, and signage across multiple project types Light carpentry and repair work: door installs, blocking, drywall patching, etc. Assist with punch list and site safety according to DOB code Maintain cleanliness and safety compliance on site (stairs, ladders, egress paths) Work across both ground-up construction and interior renovation projects Requirements: OSHA 30 (required) SST card (required) Experience working on NYC job sites (NB & existing buildings) Able to take direction, work independently, and show initiative Must have valid U.S. work authorization (work permit or legal status) What We Offer: Temp-to-perm opportunity with a reputable in-house GC Bi-weekly pay via direct deposit Steady work in Queens and Manhattan Safe, respectful, and team-oriented jobsite culture To Apply: Submit your resume or a brief summary of your work experience.
