Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Woodridge, Illinois. This role involves addressing system performance challenges and integration issues following a recent upgrade. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in SAP system optimization, background job management, and troubleshooting communication between platforms. Responsibilities: - Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks affecting background and dialogue jobs post-upgrade to Enhancement Pack 8. - Identify and implement indexing, process automation, and configuration changes to enhance system efficiency. - Diagnose and address integration issues between SAP and Qlik to restore seamless data flow. - Collaborate with IT teams to create detailed documentation of issues, solutions, and preventative measures. - Provide expert recommendations to optimize system performance and ensure long-term stability. - Monitor system processes to proactively identify potential issues and implement corrective actions. - Assist in developing automation strategies to streamline repetitive tasks and improve productivity. - Offer technical guidance and support to team members on SAP Basis-related concerns. - Ensure compliance with best practices for system management and security protocols. Requirements - Extensive experience with SAP Basis system performance optimization and troubleshooting. - Strong knowledge of SAP job scheduling, indexing, and background processing. - Hands-on expertise in integrating SAP with analytics platforms like Qlik. - Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex system interface issues. - Familiarity with client-side scripting and API development. - Demonstrated ability to manage configuration and develop business requirement documents. - Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on analytical thinking. - Effective communication skills to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
