We are looking for a Senior Director of Internal Communications to join our dynamic team! This role is responsible for crafting and delivering a comprehensive internal communications strategy that drives executive visibility, ensures effective strategy cascade, and delivers clear, impactful messaging across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a consistent record in advising internal messaging at the enterprise level. They will focus on supporting executive leadership, aligning messaging across multiple business units, and inspiring organizational change. Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday –Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro’s temporary location in Boston, MA. A day in the life of a Sr. Director of Internal Communications: Executive Visibility: Partner closely with Hasbro’s executive team to build and amplify leadership voices. Develop and lead executive communications, including speeches, presentations, internal videos, and leadership forums, ensuring consistent and authentic messaging that aligns with Hasbro’s culture and strategic priorities. Strategy Cascade: Develop and implement communication programs that effectively cascade corporate strategy, vision, and leadership principles throughout the organization. Ensure employees across every tier understand how their work contributes to Hasbro’s goals. Message Development: Develop, refine, and distribute key messages, talking points, FAQs, and internal narratives that support company initiatives, transformation efforts, and organizational change processes. Content Leadership: Lead all aspects of the creation of content for internal channels including intranet, newsletters, town halls, and digital signage. Ensure consistency in tone, branding, and messaging. Engagement & Feedback: Develop mechanisms for listening to employee feedback and measure the effectiveness of internal communications. Use insights to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with HR, Toy & Game, Wizards, and our corporate functions to align messaging and support key company moments, including organizational changes, product launches, and change management. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing internal communications team. Champion a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration. What you'll bring: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive experience in internal communications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a complex, global organization. Demonstrated experience supporting executive leaders and crafting essential communications at the C-suite level. Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear, engaging messages. Known to work in handling large-scale communication initiatives, including leadership and operational transformation. Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Experience with digital communication platforms and measurement tools. High emotional intelligence, discretion, and social skills; able to influence and form relationships at all levels. Preferred experience: Experience in the toy, gaming, or consumer products industries. Background in crisis communications and digital channel/tech stack implementation. Familiarity with global communications and working with geographically dispersed teams. The hourly rate for this position is $160,900.00 to $241,300.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
