About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Swift Developer to be a foundational member of our engineering team. We are building a flat, collaborative group where every member takes ownership and contributes across our entire platform. You will be building a groundbreaking collaborative design application for Apple Vision Pro, alongside its companion apps for iOS and iPadOS.

The ideal candidate is a master of Swift who is thrilled by the challenge of a new platform. You're not just a coder, you're a problem-solver who writes clean, pragmatic code, and knows when to leverage open-source or AI tools to move faster. While you'll primarily focus on the front-end, you're not afraid to dive into the backend to get the job done. If you thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment and want to build products that you can point to and say, "I built that," we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do:

• Own the development of features across our entire Apple ecosystem, moving fluidly between our primary visionOS application and its companion apps for iPadOS/iOS based on team priorities.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Swift and SwiftUI .
• Connect the applications to our real-time backend , ensuring seamless data flow.
• Collaborate closely with a small, dedicated team to rapidly prototype, iterate, and launch new features.
• Embrace the startup pace: quickly adapt to shifting priorities and business needs to make a direct impact on the product's success.
• Help shape our engineering culture by championing best practices while maintaining a focus on speed and execution.

What You'll Bring:

• Demonstrated mastery of Swift , with a portfolio of apps you can share that you built entirely yourself.
• Proven experience connecting mobile applications to backends, with specific knowledge of REST APIs and an understanding of PostgreSQL (experience with BAAS platforms like Supabase is a huge plus).
• A deep-seated excitement for spatial computing and building for new platforms like visionOS . (Direct experience is not required; passion is).
• Proven ability to thrive in an early-stage startup . You understand the need for flexibility, can context-switch between projects effectively, and are comfortable wearing multiple hats.
• A pragmatic approach to development, valuing open-source libraries and AI-powered tools as force multipliers.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Bonus Points:

• Familiarity with generative AI for 3D, such as text-to-mesh or voice-to-mesh technologies.Experience with RealityKit , ARKit , or Reality Composer Pro .
• Familiarity & experience crafting & deploying macOS applications.
• Familiarity with 3D concepts, OpenUSD , or graphics frameworks like Metal .
• Experience with real-time collaboration technologies (e.g., WebSockets, CRDTs).
• Solid understanding of spatial math (vectors, matrices, quaternions).
