Responsibilities of a Server/Host

The role of a server/host at Eggs Up Grill is dynamic and crucial to the guest experience. You would be responsible for both front-of-house duties, which typically include:

• Guest Service: Being the first and last point of contact for guests. This includes greeting them warmly, managing the waitlist, and seating them at tables.
• Order Management: Taking food and drink orders accurately, entering them into the point-of-sale (POS) system, and ensuring they are delivered to the kitchen promptly.
• Service and Support: Serving food and beverages, checking on tables, refilling drinks, and helping to bus tables and keep the dining area clean and organized.
• Payment Processing: Delivering bills and handling various payment types, including cash and credit cards.
• General Restaurant Duties: Answering the phone, handling to-go orders, and working with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
