As a Sheet Metal Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing sheet metal fabrication and installation projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of sheet metal workers and apprentices.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications.
• Review blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to maintain quality standards.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain inventory of materials and tools, ordering supplies as needed.
• Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on the job site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation.
• Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal tools, equipment, and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is a plus.

You should be proficient in:

• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
• Blueprint Reading
