CR Legal Team is seeking an experienced Social Media Content Creator to elevate our online presence and authentically represent our Mission and Core Values across a variety of platforms.

As our Social Media Content Creator , you'll play a crucial role in building trust, educating our audience, and positioning our attorneys as thought leaders. You'll balance professionalism with creativity while navigating the unique compliance and ethical considerations of legal marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn that aligns with our firm's brand values and business objectives.

Create diverse, high-quality content including educational videos, client testimonials, attorney spotlights, legal tips, case results (where appropriate), behind-the-scenes content, and thought leadership pieces.

Produce professional video content featuring attorneys explaining legal concepts, answering FAQs, and discussing current legal trends in an accessible, engaging manner.

Design eye-catching graphics and infographics that simplify complex legal information for general audiences.

Craft compelling copy that is informative, professional, and compliant with legal advertising regulations.

Manage and maintain content calendars across all platforms, ensuring consistent posting schedules and timely responses to current events or trending topics relevant to our practice areas.

Monitor social media metrics and provide regular performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.

Stay informed about legal industry trends, competitor activities, and platform algorithm changes to continuously optimize content performance.

Collaborate closely with attorneys to gather content ideas, ensure accuracy, and maintain compliance with state bar advertising rules.

Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages in a professional, brand-appropriate manner.

Coordinate video shoots with attorneys and staff, including scripting, filming, and post-production editing.

Qualifications

  • College Degree in communications, marketing, digital media, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in social media content creation, preferably with experience in professional services, B2B, or legal marketing.
  • Proven track record of growing social media presence and engagement for brands that require a professional, trustworthy image.
  • Advanced proficiency with content creation tools including Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, CapCut, or similar video editing software.
  • Strong videography skills including shooting, lighting, sound, and editing for short-form and long-form content.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to simplify complex topics without losing accuracy or appearing condescending.
  • Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices, audience behaviors, and content formats for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Experience working within regulated industries and understanding of compliance considerations (legal, medical, financial services, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with executives and professionals, including coaching on-camera presence.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Analytics-driven mindset with experience using social media insights tools and Google Analytics.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Bonus Skills

  • Previous experience in legal marketing or working with law firms.
  • Knowledge of legal advertising regulations and state bar ethics rules.
  • Familiarity with legal practice areas and terminology.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising and campaign management.
  • Photography skills and professional lighting/audio equipment experience.
  • Understanding of LinkedIn's professional networking dynamics and B2B content strategies.
