Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the Events we protect. A  Security Officer acts as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions and detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the Event. 

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Must either be registered as a Security Officer with LSBPSE, or be able to meet requirements for registration, including:
  • Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
  • Pass a background and fingerprint check with the Louisiana State Police
  • Complete 16 hours of necessary classroom training
  • Must be in good physical condition to complete necessary assignments, which might include walking or standing for extended periods of time
  • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
  • Must have a professional appearance
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Must have open availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must have a valid driver’s license or Valid photo ID
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Experience not required, but preferred
