The Senior SQL Database Administrator will be responsible for providing reliable, cost-effective, and secure enterprise-wide support for business-critical production and non-production databases. This is an on-site position requiring expert-level SQL DBA administration skills and recent hands-on experience in all aspects of SQL DBA administration.

Responsibilities:
- Installing and upgrading SQL Servers, including applying service packs.
- Performing routine database maintenance, including creating and scheduling SQL Server jobs, rebuilding indexes, updating statistics, and performing consistency checks.
- Monitoring error logs and event logs for database errors.
- Utilizing SQL Server native tools and services such as SQL Server Profiler, Index Tuning Advisor, SQL Server Configuration Manager, Extended Events, Performance Monitor, Dynamic Management View, SQL Server Broker Service, Linked Servers, MSDTC, SQL Server System Databases, Database Mail, and SQL Server Health Checks and Policies.
- Managing SQL Server security and auditing, including user security, database roles, authentication methods, SQL Server and database auditing, and encryption at rest, transit, and backup.
- Capacity planning for storage and database objects, including maintaining and managing SQL Server disk space, index and statistics usage, and managing disk storage for Windows Failover Cluster Service (WFSC).
- Establishing standards and schedules for database backups.
- Developing recovery procedures to meet RPO and RTO.
- Restoring databases with point-in-time recovery.
- Creating and testing Disaster Recovery plans.
- Proficient in TSQL coding, tuning, and ETL methodologies.
- Implementing SQL Server High Availability Methods, including Mirroring and Always On.
- Building and maintaining Windows Host and Guest Servers.
- Installing and managing endpoint protection.
- Configuring and maintaining Application Server, Web Server, File Server, and FTP Server.
- Utilizing PowerShell for administration tasks.
- Configuring and maintaining Windows Failover Clusters.
- Managing Windows Server Roles and Features.
- Managing .NET Framework Components.
