Cordia Resources is supporting a property management company in a search for a Staff Accountant. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team.

Position Summary:
The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting the corporate accounting function. This position is responsible for reviewing accounts payable, preparing journal entries, managing intercompany transactions, supporting treasury operations, and assisting with wire transfers. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills and experience with Yardi or a similar property management accounting system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and process accounts payable transactions for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Assist with treasury functions, including daily cash reporting and wire transfers
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing
• Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
• Experience with Yardi or similar accounting software is a strong plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
