Intramotev is seeking an experienced Business Development / Commercial Manager, Steel Mills and Plant Railroads to join our Business Development team. 

A successful candidate will have experience building and maintaining relationships within steel mills, plant railroads, and switching railroads or contractors. Knowledge and relationships within ports, mining, or transloading is a bonus. 

This position will play a key role in helping Intramotev grow within the rail industry by facilitating industry adoption of its innovative products.

Position Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with steel mills, plant railroads, and switching railroads in the US and internationally to facilitate adoption of Intramotev's products
• Represent Intramotev at conferences, within industry organizations, and at customer events
• Engage with industry OEM incumbents to explore partnership opportunities
• Work across Intramotev to communicate customer and industry feedback to Engineering and Design teams

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Hold at least a Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to understand and convey technically complex products in simple terms
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time
• Self-starter willing to operate independently with autonomy as well as cross-functionally in small teams. 
• Fluent in both written and verbal English; other languages helpful

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Candidate should have a working knowledge of one or (ideally) multiple areas listed below:

• North American rail industry operations
• Port, mining, plant, or global railroad operations

Typical Education and Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Relocation:

This position is based in St. Louis, MO. Relocation assistance is available.
