Come join the Safety and Health Services Unit at State Compensation Insurance Fund, California’s leading workers’ compensation insurance carrier.

Under general supervision, the incumbent will:

• Act as a lead person who provides safety and health services to policyholders/accounts with operations that present exceptionally complex and difficult risk
• Assist Loss Prevention Managers with staff development and quality control
• Provide group and individual training sessions on a regular and as needed basis
• Assist management in supervising, evaluating and monitoring the activity of Loss Prevention Engineers.

This is a TELE-WORKING position; working from your residence, which requires intermittent travel to office and job site locations with mileage reimbursement.  

These positions can be filled in the following locations:   Los Angeles Ventura Riverside San Diego and Orange County.

• The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.

New to state candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of the alternate salary range when applicable. Placement to alternate salary range may be based on education or experience identified in your state application.

Candidates having one of the following credentials or willingness to obtain certification is a plus:

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
• Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
