Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our healthcare imaging team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and physiology, ensuring high-quality imaging results while maintaining patient safety and comfort. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to patient care through precise imaging and diagnostic evaluation.

Duties

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce detailed images of patients’ internal structures, adhering strictly to safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the scan.
  • Conduct specialized imaging procedures including computed tomography (CT), DEXA scans for bone density assessment, and sonography as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required as an MRI Technologist.
  • NYS licence Required.
  • Flu Vaccine Required.
  • Experience with EPIC charting system Required.
  • Philips 1.5 magnet experience Proffered.
  • ARRT and BLS certification Required.
